High Matt, I'm following this build of the 64 mini with great anticipation. My second car was a 64 Mini which I loved very much and spent many happy hours "tinkering" as my wife called it. About the only thing I didn't do to it was welding as it didn't need any luckily. It was the best £50 I paid for a car, I had it for three years and sold it for £145, looks like all that tinkering paid off 🙂

Hi Matt, I think I have watched your videos from the beginning I remember hearing your name mentioned at the London to Brighton Mini Run after your Mini Jet Black was completed and made it to the show. I am also a hobby welder to and love being in the garage trying to sort rusty old minis out and generally old cars. I am currently restoring my fiancée’s little mini for our wedding, so budget is basically nothing and time is short, I am always referring back to your videos for help. Everyone needs to have a go at some point in their lives. I would love the chance to win the classic no matter what it is as my passion for classics is massive and it would be an honour to keep one on the road and enjoy it going to the shows and general drives. It would be a very well looked after and loved car, and something I would pass down to my children to keep classic cars alive. Keep up the awesome work you get people out there and giving it a good go. All the best Matt 😃

Hello Matt...7K subscribers and now it's time to 'activate' the 'Classic Car Giveaway'. Been with you since the earlier days(although not the earliest) and seen things develop at an incredible speed for someone who is truly 'grassroots' as a car restorer. You have been a bit of a inspiration to me and I think your channel was one of the first(if not the first) that I started to follow. I follow more Mini restorers on here than any other car format(I am a Jag man) but have learned more than a few tricks from your good self. Looking forward to the 'Entry' box opening up and find out what car it will be that get's 'Bogie'd'..Keep doing what you do best, Regards Malcolm

Recently subscribed I’m soon going to start my own restoration on a 1984 Vauxhall Cavalier MK2 watching your videos with great interest to gain tips and tricks. This is my first car I hope to learn a lot from this experience, the restoration is only light in comparison to your MK1 Mini that your currently doing. All the best. Steve.
